Enjoy your long weekend and don't forget to check the Relatives and comment in our blog.

See you after the holidays, ;)

The Relatives

Hi, boys and girls of 4th of ESO!
As we're are dealing with the relatives this week and some of you have difficulties with them, here you have some explanations and examples, ok? Check them and we'll comment it in class.

See you soon, and have a nice long weekend ;D

PRONOMBRES RELATIVOS

The Future

Hi, boys and girls!

Here you have the new grammar of this topic. Read it, please... ;)
Don't forget to "click" on "More information" to see the rest of the explanation.

FUTURE
* We can use “WILL”, “GOING TO” and “PRESENT CONTIUNOUS” talk about the future.

WILL
• Usamos este tiempo verbal para expresar predicciones, ofrecimientos, promesas sobre lo que pasará en el futuro, y decisiones repentinas que tomamos mientras hablamos. A menudo van acompañadas de “I think…”, “I believe…”, “I’m sure…”, “I don’t think…”

• P.ej: I think he will pass the exam = Creo que él aprobará el examen. ( predicción)
• P.ej: I will buy you a racket = Te compraré una raqueta ( promise)
• P.ej: I won’t go to bed.I’m not tired. = No estoy cansado. No iré a la cama ( decisión repentina)
• P.ej: - I forgot my keys!... - Oh, Don’t worry, I’ll go and bring them back (ofrecimiento)
• P.ej: Will you be a doctor? = ¿Serás doctor? ( pregunta una predicción)

The Video "The Scientist" in the Film "Wicker Park"

Hello boys and girls!
Here you have the song we've listened today at class. It is a Coldplay's song and we can find it in the soundtrack of a beautiful film called "Wicker Park". If you have time, it would be a good idea you watch it in English (Spanish subtitles, of course! :D ) Enjoy it!
Esto es un video de youtube:

Lyrics to Sing a Coldplay Song

Hello again!
Here you have the lyrics of the song we've seen today in class. I hope you enjoy and practise it a lot...because tomorrow we'll try again! ;-)

The Scientist
Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are
I had to find you, tell you I need you
And tell you I set you apart
Tell me your secrets, and nurse me your questions
Oh lets go back to the start
Running in circles, coming in tails
Heads on a science apart
Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh take me back to the start

I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling the puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart
And tell me you love me, come back and haunt me
Oh and I rush to the start
Running in circles, chasing tails
Coming back as we are

Nobody said it was easy
Oh it's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard
I'm going back to the start
